Showgirls for Hire in Los Angeles
Feathers, crystal, and eight feet of headdress moving in perfect time. The moment guests walk in and understand that this is not an ordinary party.
A showgirl is the single most photographed thing at most events we produce, and it is not close. The costume does part of the work — hand-beaded bodysuits, ostrich plume backpacks, headdresses that clear seven feet with the feathers in — but the reason it reads as Vegas rather than costume shop is the training. Our showgirls are working dancers. They hold a line, they hit a mark, and they can walk a room for two hours in eight-inch heels without the illusion slipping.
Bookings usually run one of three ways. As a walk-in moment: two to six showgirls flanking the entrance as guests arrive, roughly the first forty-five minutes. As roaming ambiance: performers working the room between courses, posing for photographs, giving the space a pulse. Or as a staged number: three to five minutes of choreography built to your music, rehearsed, lit and cued into the run-of-show.
We cast to the room. A Beverly Hills gala and a Malibu wedding want different heights, different palettes, different levels of exposure, and we will ask about that early rather than surprising you at load-in. Costumes can be matched to your colours — champagne, black, white, red, or a custom build if we have lead time. Six to eight weeks buys you a custom look; two weeks buys you our existing wardrobe, which is considerable.
Frequently asked
- How many showgirls do we need?
- Two reads as a deliberate accent at an entrance. Four fills a room of a hundred and fifty. Six or more is a production number. For most private parties, four is the number people land on.
- How much space does a showgirl performance need?
- For roaming, nothing beyond normal walking room and a doorway with real clearance — the headdresses are tall, and low soffits are the thing that catches people out. A staged number wants roughly 16 by 16 feet of clear floor.
- Can costumes match our colours?
- Yes. We hold a deep wardrobe in champagne, black, white, gold and red. A fully custom build in your palette needs six to eight weeks.
- Are the costumes appropriate for a corporate or family event?
- Yes — we cover a full range from full-coverage gowns to classic showgirl. Tell us the audience and we will bring the right wardrobe. We ask this on every booking.
